Can I bring my own food?
Yes! We encourage you to bring your own food! We generally have homemade sourdough and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Feel free to order food from where ever you wish.
Do you allow dogs?
We do allow dogs on the front porch. We generally don’t allow dogs in the tasting room unless they are a service animal, or are less than 20 lbs. We have lots of bottles on display for purchase and wagging dog tails tend to cause issues.
Someone in my party only drinks beer. Can I bring beer?
Sorry, but that is a big no. We are only licenced to serve what we produce. That’s mead, wine, and cider. NO outside alcohol is permitted due to state law.
Do you allow children in the tasting room?
Absolutely! We are family friendly. As long as minors are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times they are more than welcome in our tasting room!
Do you take reservations?
Yes we do! Please call us on our main number (859-439-3009) at least 24 hours ahead of time. We can generally reserve one or more tables for your party for a specific time. If you have a very large party (more than 10) please try to give us at least a week to prepare. We may even open for private parties on a day that we are typically closed. Call us for more details.

As a meadery tasting room we close at 9:00 pm. If you still have fire in your veins and seek merriment long after our doors have shuttered, wander just 7 minutes down the road to our friends and business partners at Highwater Saloon. They keep the lamps burning ’til midnight, ready to welcome night‑owls, travelers, and anyone not yet ready to end their revels.
Highwater Saloon is an old‑school roadhouse with real character—a neighborhood gathering place that hosts locals and weary travelers. Step inside and you’ll find a warm, lived‑in atmosphere, cold drinks, friendly faces, and that classic Kentucky river‑road charm. They’re open Monday and Thursday through Sunday from 4 pm to midnight, giving you a perfect after‑mead destination for late‑night fun.
If your adventure shouldn’t end at 9, let it continue at Highwater. They’ll keep the night rolling.
